The bill
(Reg.No.10507) focuses on the support of budget state environmental agencies of
international significance by releasing them from payment of certain fees. It
is suggested to provide the institutions with the possibility for free water
consumption and to receive special permission to use the subsoil to extract
artesian water.
Article 3
of the Water Code as well as articles 16 and 21 of the Subsoil Code of Ukraine
should be amended.
The implementation of the provisions, according to the Committee members, will allow for systematic and comprehensive solving of the problem of water supply and improve the financial provision of objects of natural reserve fund.
